Runnin' Man

Here is the latest animation I did, probably took about 6 - 8 hours total time. I used some video references off of youtube.com of some street runners. This is really the first time I've tried this. It's a lot faster because the timing is pretty much done. My next project I will try to add more personality to the animation but still start with reference video.

Cool stuff, got some good action in there. A few things that I think will help you out a bunch are, starting him standing up, so when he bends down to jump you get more of a dynamic action. I think midflip, he should also be bunched up, when he turns, cuz when you do a backflip, when you're upside down, when you see the ground, you put your feet there, so maybe have his head keep looking at the ground to place his feet correctly. it seems like he shouldn't stop before he jumps over the wall, because he's losing all that momentum, then just does it. lastly, have him fall off the screen, it seems weird that he just stays there when the video ends.

But like I said, good stuff so far, I just think those things will push it even farther.
